Logo krtečka narozdíl od stávajícího loga Přírodovědecké fakulty University Karlovy je dostatečně reprezentativní. Zastupuje všechny odborné sekce fakulty. Narozdíl od "stromu života" je jedinečné, reprezentující české národní uvědomění a známé nejen pro každého občana ČR. Díky tomu má možnost oslovovat potenciální studenty i širokou veřejnost.
